He is a notable Canadian Artist who was featured in an interactive documentary series called City Sonic. Brendan Canning's band, Cookie Duster, was rejuvenated with a new lineup and a new album that was called When Flying Was Easy, released on June 2012. As a solo artist, he was introduced that he would be scoring The Canyons film. In his first outing as a solo artist, he created his debut solo album called Something for All of Us which was released back in 2008 and now he came back solo again with his second album named You Gots 2 Chill that will be released on October 1, 2013.
